Larimar

In healing stone lore, Larimar is also known as the Atlantis Stone. Its only occurrence in its blue colors is, to this day, the Dominican Republic.
Legend has it that Larimar is connected to the lost paradise. According to this, Larimar is said to be the only remaining testimony of the legendary island of Atlantis.
Larimar symbolizes boundlessness. Its colors are those of the endless sky and the vast sea. It has been worn since earliest history as a protective stone against evil spirits, natural disasters, and diseases. Many things are attributed to this stone; among other things, Larimar is said to open new paths in thinking and acting and to serve self-realization.
Due to its high calcium content, it is also said to have a strengthening effect on bones and growth. Larimar is a very popular and attractive gemstone used for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and bracelets. It is very valuable because it is now almost depleted and has thus become very rare.

The chemical formula of Larimar: Ca2Na [OH/Si3O8] + Fe, Mn
