Gentle cleaning at home

Silver jewelry can tarnish over time – this is a natural oxidation process and not a defect in quality. With proper care, its original shine can be easily restored.

Method 1: Silver Polishing Cloth (recommended)

Method 2: Lukewarm Water & Mild Soap

  • Briefly clean the jewelry in lukewarm water with some mild soap.
  • Gently clean with a soft brush or cloth.
  • Rinse thoroughly and immediately rub dry.

Method 3: Baking Soda & Aluminum (only for heavy tarnishing)

  • Line a bowl with aluminum foil (shiny side up).
  • Place jewelry inside, add 1-2 teaspoons of baking soda and hot water.
  • Let sit briefly, rinse, and rub dry.

⚠️ Not suitable for jewelry with delicate gemstones, oxidations, or coatings.

Important Notes

  • Do not use harsh cleaning agents or toothpaste
  • Do not store jewelry while damp
  • Avoid contact with perfume, hairspray, cleaning agents
  • Best to store silver airtight (e.g., in a jewelry pouch)

Prevention Tip

Regular wearing can even slow down tarnishing, as skin contact reduces oxidation.
