Larimar

In healing stone lore, Larimar is also known as the Atlantis stone. Its only occurrence in its blue color is, to this day, the Dominican Republic.
According to legend, Larimar is said to be connected to the sunken paradise. Accordingly, Larimar is said to be the only remaining testimony of the fabled island of Atlantis.
Larimar symbolizes boundlessness. Its colors are those of the endless sky and the vast sea. It has been worn since ancient times as a protective stone against evil spirits, natural disasters, and diseases. This stone is attributed with many qualities; among other things, Larimar is said to open new paths in thought and action and serve self-realization.
Due to its high calcium content, it is also said to have a strengthening effect on bones and growth. Larimar is a very popular and attractive gemstone, used for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and bracelets. It is very valuable, as it has now been almost exhausted and thus become very rare.

The chemical formula of Larimar: Ca2Na [OH/Si3O8] + Fe, Mn
