Larimar symbolizes boundlessness. Its colors are those of the endless sky and the vast sea. Since ancient times, it has been worn as a protective stone against evil spirits, natural disasters, and illnesses. Many things are attributed to this stone; among other things, Larimar is said to open new paths in thinking and acting and to serve self-realization.
Due to its high calcium content, it is also said to have a strengthening effect on bones and growth. Larimar is a very popular and attractive gemstone, which is used for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and bangles. It is very valuable because it has been almost depleted and thus has become very rare.
