Larimar

In healing stone lore, Larimar is also known as the Atlantis Stone. Its only occurrence in its blue color is, to this day, the Dominican Republic.
Legend has it that Larimar is connected to the submerged paradise. According to this, Larimar is said to be the only remaining testament to the legendary island of Atlantis.

Since earliest history, it has been worn as a protective stone against evil spirits, natural disasters, and illnesses. Many things are attributed to this stone; among other things, Larimar is said to open new paths in thought and action and serve self-realization.
Due to its high calcium content, it is also said to have a strengthening effect on bones and growth.
