Larimar

In healing stone lore, Larimar is also known as the Atlantis stone. Its only blue occurrence to date is in the Dominican Republic.
According to legend, Larimar is said to be connected to the lost paradise. It is believed that Larimar is the only remaining testament to the fabled island of Atlantis.
Larimar symbolizes boundlessness. Its colors are those of the endless sky and the vast sea. It has been worn since ancient times as a protective stone against evil spirits, natural disasters, and diseases. Many properties are attributed to this stone; among other things, Larimar is said to open new ways of thinking and acting and serve self-realization.
Due to its high calcium content, it is also said to have a strengthening effect on bones and growth. Larimar is a very popular and attractive jewelry stone, used for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and bracelets. It is very valuable because it has been almost depleted and thus has become very rare.

The chemical formula of Larimar: Ca2Na [OH/Si3O8] + Fe, Mn
