Larimar

In healing stone lore, Larimar is also known as the Atlantis Stone. Its only occurrence in its blue colors is, to this day, the Dominican Republic.
Legend has it that Larimar is connected to the sunken paradise. Accordingly, Larimar is said to be the only remaining testimony of the fabled island of Atlantis.
Larimar stands as a symbol of boundlessness. Its colors are those of the endless sky and the vast sea. Since ancient history, it has been worn as a protective stone against evil spirits, natural disasters, and diseases. Many things are attributed to this stone, among them that Larimar is said to open new paths in thought and action and serve self-realization.
Due to its high calcium content, it is also said to have a strengthening effect on bones and growth. Larimar is a very popular and attractive jewelry stone, which is used for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and bracelets. It is very valuable because it has now been almost exhausted and has thus become very rare.
