According to legend, Larimar is said to be connected to the sunken paradise. Accordingly, Larimar is said to be the only remaining testimony of the fabled island of Atlantis.
Larimar stands as a symbol of boundlessness. Its colors are those of the endless sky and the vast sea. It has been worn since earliest history as a protective stone against evil spirits, natural disasters, and diseases. Many things are attributed to this stone, among other things, Larimar is said to open new ways of thinking and acting and to serve self-realization.
Due to its high calcium content, it is also said to have a strengthening effect on bones and growth. Larimar is a very popular and attractive jewelry stone, which is used for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and bracelets. It is very valuable, as it has been almost exploited and has thus become very rare.
