Chrysoprase

This gemstone is a nickel-containing chalcedony. Chrysoprase has been known for millennia as a jewelry stone and decorative stone. Its name comes from Greek and means "gold - leek." It is also said that chrysoprase was already Cleopatra's comfort stone / harmony stone in ancient Egypt, and at the same time, chrysoprase was worn there as a protective stone against the plague.
