Larimar

In healing stone lore, the Larimar is also known as the Atlantis stone. Its only blue occurrence to date is in the Dominican Republic.
According to legend, the Larimar is said to be connected to the lost paradise. It is believed that the Larimar is the only remaining testament to the fabled island of Atlantis.
The Larimar symbolizes boundlessness. Its colors are those of the endless sky and the vast sea. It has been worn since ancient times as a protective stone against evil spirits, natural disasters, and diseases. Many things are attributed to this stone; among other things, the Larimar is said to open up new paths in thought and action and to serve self-realization.
Due to its high calcium content, it is also said to have a strengthening effect on bones and growth. The Larimar is a very popular and attractive gemstone, which is used for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and bracelets. It is very valuable because it is now almost exhausted and thus very rare.

The chemical formula of Larimar: Ca2Na [OH/Si3O8] + Fe, Mn
