A rare Afghanite soapstone in A-quality, finely ground and polished. This extraordinary gemstone shows a strong blue to blue-violet coloring with light structures and natural inclusions. Each stone is a unique natural specimen with characteristic marbling and a smooth surface.

With a size of approximately 75 × 50 × 20 mm and a weight of around 125 g, the soapstone lies comfortably in the hand. Its harmoniously rounded shape and finely polished surface make it an excellent palm stone, lay-on stone, or massage stone.

Afghanite was first discovered in Afghanistan and named there. Further occurrences are found in Canada, Tajikistan, Italy, Russia, and Greenland. The deep blue specimens from Afghanistan are particularly valued.
