A noble Afghanite soapstone of A-quality, carefully cut and finely polished. The rare gemstone displays an intense blue to blue-violet color with light structures and natural inclusions, making each piece a unique natural specimen.

Measuring approximately 65 × 50 × 25 mm and weighing around 141 g, the soapstone fits comfortably in the hand. Thanks to its harmonious, rounded shape and smoothly polished surface, it is ideal as a palm stone, lay-on stone or massage stone.

Discovery Sites

Afghanite was first discovered in Afghanistan and named after its country of origin. Other occurrences are found in Canada, Tajikistan, Italy, Russia and Greenland. Particularly the deep blue stones from Afghanistan are considered to be especially color-intensive and high-quality.
