Larimar

The Larimar is also known as the Atlantis Stone in healing stone lore. Its only occurrence in its blue colors to this day is the Dominican Republic.
Legend has it that the Larimar is connected to the sunken paradise. According to this, the Larimar is said to be the only remaining testament to the legendary island of Atlantis.
The Larimar symbolizes boundlessness. Its colors are those of the endless sky and the vast sea. It has been worn since ancient history as a protective stone against evil spirits, natural disasters, and illnesses. Many things are attributed to this stone; among other things, the Larimar is said to open new paths in thought and action and serve self-realization.
Due to its high calcium content, it is also said to have a strengthening effect on bones and growth. The Larimar is a very popular and attractive jewelry stone, which is used for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and bracelets. It is very valuable because it has now been almost exploited and has thus become very rare.
