Larimar

In healing stone lore, Larimar is also known as the Atlantis Stone. Its only occurrence in its blue color is, to this day, the Dominican Republic.
According to legend, Larimar is said to be connected to the sunken paradise. It is said that Larimar is the only remaining testament to the fabled island of Atlantis.
Larimar symbolizes boundlessness. Its colors are those of the endless sky and the vast sea. Since earliest history, it has been worn as a protective stone against evil spirits, natural disasters, and illnesses. Many properties are attributed to this stone; among other things, Larimar is said to open new paths in thought and action and serve self-realization.
Due to its high calcium content, it is also said to have a strengthening effect on bones and growth.
